Buildings, towers, bridges, rides, trees and lamps can all be blown apart — cut the supports and it comes down on whoever is below.
A new map every round. Online, everyone votes at the end of a round: the next in the order or one of two others. Nobody votes? The next in the order.
Green pads launch you onto rooftops, towers and cliffs — the fastest way up (and out of trouble).
Green crosses heal 50 HP. Purple Overcharge doubles your damage for 15 s.
Grab the orange bomb on a tower roof (or earn it with a kill streak), aim and press G.
5 kills in a row without dying earns a NUKE. Aim and press N: 4 s of sirens, then it flattens everything within ~55 m.
Hits push enemies back — the lower their health, the further they fly. Knock them off roofs and cliffs.
All-time kills and deaths go on the leaderboard with your country flag; levels, medals and cosmetics are saved with your key.
Left-handed? Settings → Controls: move with IJKL or the arrows, jump Right Ctrl, weapons on the numpad.

Fast and accurate. Headshots hurt.
Ten pellets — devastating up close, with a huge push.
Splash damage and massive knockback. Fire at your feet to rocket-jump.
Hold fire to light the 5 s fuse, release to throw. Cook it so it blows as it lands — hold too long and it goes off in your hand!
A bolt that travels — everyone sees it coming, a quick jump dodges it. It punches through one wall and burns a hole in it. Headshot kills, a body hit takes 75, a graze 28. Right-click zooms 3× → 5×.
Bounces, rolls and pops into a thick cloud for 18 s — nobody sees through it, bots neither. Cross a street under cover.
The order, round after round: VOLCANO → TSUNAMI → NEON CITY → DUNE → SKYREACH → CASTLE → ZOO → SAKURA → again. Online, everyone votes at the end of a round: the next in this order or one of two others. Click a map for its page.
The White House at its true size at dusk — three floors of state rooms, the Oval Office in the West Wing, the lawns inside the fence — and every wall, floor, picture and carpet breaks. In the garden: THE WHITE KNUCKLE, a roller coaster round the whole south grounds.
The train waits at the station below the south portico. E beside a car and you're in your seat — shoot from it, E again to get off. Up the chain lift to 36 m, the big drop, two hills, a helix over the pool. You can walk the track too.
A piece of track takes 8 direct rockets (or two nukes). Shoot one out and the train jumps the gap — if it lands on track it rolls on, if not it crashes and a new train appears at the station.
Orange pads are trampolines, violet pads teleporters (fence corners → the roofs), red pads cannons that fire you wherever you face. Green pads jump you onto the roof, the wings and the coaster's crests.
Grand stair, Cross Hall, East Room, Blue Room, the kitchen and the bowling lane downstairs, the Lincoln Bedroom and the penthouse above. Blow the walls out — the porticos and colonnades fall when their columns go.
Horses and zebras on the north lawn, gazelles, donkeys and ostriches on the south lawn, flamingos at the pond — they stampede when the shooting starts. The President's dogs and cats are about too.
Barrels in the kitchen, the machine rooms, Marine One on the lawn, at the coaster's towers; the motorcade on the drives.
A mountain island on a moonlit night. Every 2½ minutes the sea draws back… then a wall of water floods the island and wrecks everything it reaches — trees, houses, all of it.
Sirens and a warning bar first. Get high — the ridge and the summit stay dry — or get on a boat or the liner. The last wave comes in the final minute.
Caught by the water you swim: no weapons, the crest throws you about. Jump out onto a boat, a quay or a rock.
They patrol the coast and come in with every wave. A bite is 25 HP. Shoot them — from the land too (300 HP).
E at the helm (in front of the wheelhouse): WS throttle, AD steer. Everyone aboard rides along and can shoot. Shoot a boat full of holes and it sinks — a new one turns up on a far beach.
A great liner moored at the east quay: the ballroom and grand staircase, the engine bay, the bridge. Players can sink it too.
Two cabins shuttle between the liner's quay and the summit — ride up and shoot out of the open sides.
A rock portal behind the liner's quay leads up inside the mountain to the summit — pitch dark, your flashlight comes on by itself. It stays dry when the sea comes in.
An explosion can set a tree alight; fire spreads through the forest and burns whoever stands in it — until the wave puts it out. The lighthouse on the summit shows the way up (shoot its lamp and the light goes out).
The classic: a whole city to fight through — inside the buildings, across the rooftops, over the bridges and down in the subway tunnels.
Enter any building, climb to the roofs, cross the bridges, sneak through the tunnels.
Every building, tower and bridge can be blown apart — cut the supports and it falls.
The orange bomb waits on a tower roof — take the jump pads up.
One huge desert map — the biggest of them all, with 30 bots.
Steam trains run a loop of stations and two through lines, with no warning but the whistle — stand on the tracks and you're gone. Ride a wagon; when two trains meet on a crossing they crash.
E by any car, lorry, racer, motorbike, bus or armoured car to drive it: WS gas / brake, AD steer, Space handbrake, F view, H horn. One rocket sets a car on fire, two blow it up.
Camels, giraffes, zebras, horses, gazelles, ostriches and flamingos stampede when something scares them.
It hears explosions — when the sand starts to move, RUN. Three rockets drive it off.
Airships bomb the whole map — shoot them down.
Landscape (the middle): “Battlefield 1 - Desert Map” by vrchris, CC-BY-4.0; textures from Poly Haven (CC0).
Floating islands above a sea of clouds, a fortress at each end, bridges nobody can break (you can still be blown off them).
A colossal sky whale circles the islands: ride a wind column up a Sky Pier, jump onto its back and grab the airstrike from its shrine.
They fling you across the whole map. Updrafts lift you to the Spire under the crystal.
When it hits, every jump becomes a flight.
Fight room to room: the ballroom with its galleries and imperial staircase, the throne room, chapel, library, armory, bedchambers, the attic treasury and the battlements.
Giant trebuchets on the hills hurl flaming boulders through the roof — get inside!
Shoot a chandelier's chain and it crashes onto whoever stands below. Powder kegs in the armory!
When the candles blow out, only the torches stay lit… and the king drifts through the walls back to his throne.
Blast a hole through the outer wall and come in from the garden.
A zoo and a fun park — with animals that fight back.
Explode something near the elephants and the herd charges through fences and buildings. 3 rockets bring an elephant down.
Break the tiger valley glass and the tigers come hunting.
Walk the roller coaster track, snipe from the Sky Drop and the lookout tower, topple the Ferris wheel.
A Japanese temple town built for ambushes.
Circle round through the bamboo forest and lurk under the canal bridges.
The sniper's spot over the whole town.
Take the jump pad in the garden pit up the pagoda for the Overcharge.
A tropical island with a live volcano in the middle. Don't touch the lava.
They launch you across the island and up the volcano.
Every few minutes the volcano ERUPTS and rains lava bombs on everything.
Hit it and it chain-explodes.
The company headquarters: atrium, offices, labs and the server room.
Jump pads and lift shafts shoot you up to the roof.
When the power fails only the red emergency lights, the muzzle flashes and your flashlight are left.
The 5v5 competitive map: de_dust2 itself, 1:1 — long A, catwalk, mid doors, the tunnels, B site. Walls can't be broken. Rules in the 5v5 DUST tab.
Map model: “de_dust2 - CS map” by vrchris, CC-BY-4.0.
Counter-Strike 1.6 rules on de_dust2. PLAY 5v5 in the main menu puts you in a 5 v 5 match right away — empty places are filled with bots, and real players who join take a bot's place. SERVERS lists the 5v5 servers: pick one, and your side.
Press SPECTATE in the main menu (or Esc → 👁 Spectate in a game). Spectators are invisible, don't take a player slot and can chat.
Add friends from the menu (FRIENDS) or in a game: hold Tab, right mouse button, right-click a player — then Invite them into your game.
Hold V to talk — players near you hear you, and voices fade with distance. Push-to-talk, open mic or off in Settings.
Everyone plays on the BIONEURAL game server: up to 6 lobbies of 30 players, and PLAY always puts you in the fullest one with room — people play together. When every seat is taken you wait in the queue and drop in the moment one frees up. Bots fill the empty places (20, DUNE 30); every player who joins takes a bot's place.
Everything that changed in BIONEURAL, update by update. Newest first.
BIONEURAL is two games now: the FPS you know and THE SPITTING GAME, with its own PLAY on the home screen - alone or with friends. (HOW TO CAT has grown into a game of its own, MAKE ME RICH, for PC.)
Eight characters, six gun skins and six hats - and to start with, a special event: all of them are free to TRY.
Competitive 5v5 is back — on its own dedicated servers — with a server list to pick your game from, and clans to play it with.

A new map built at true scale, a roller coaster round its grounds and three new kinds of jump pad. This is the biggest content update since launch.
PLAY ONLINE moved from player-hosted rooms to persistent dedicated game servers in Frankfurt. Always on, 30 pilots per server — when one fills up, the next one opens automatically.
BIONEURAL goes live: fast, loud, free-for-all on fully destructible maps, in the browser, on PC, phone, tablet and controller.
